Trapped Emotions: An Invisible Epidemic
We continuously experience emotions as we go about our day-to-day lives. Sometimes life becomes difficult, and those emotions become overwhelming. We all experience negative or non-beneficial emotional extremes many times throughout the course of our life.
Some people easily forget about these challenges. And yet the influence of such negative experiences may stay with us in the form of trapped emotions. An emotion becomes trapped within our energy field when our subconscious has not fully processed it. In our conscious mind, we may feel we have completely moved beyond that event or circumstance. And yet, deep within our psyche, we have not!
Trapped emotions (TE) exist within all of us and disrupt our internal energy flow. They are an invisible epidemic. Ridding ourselves of them seems insurmountable. They are, quite literally, emotional baggage.
What is emotional baggage?
These TEs become what we refer to as emotional baggage. Though the energies may differ in size and shape, they each carry a specific vibrational frequency. These frequencies then are carried throughout the energy channels in our body. They begin to fill our energy field with non-beneficial frequencies and contribute to physical as well as emotional distress and illness. TEs are detrimental to all levels of our well-being.
Trapped Emotions … the likely cause
TEs can compel us to make wrong assumptions, overreact to small things, misunderstand behaviors, and create conflict in our relationships. TEs are likely a major cause of relationship problems … whether it is interpersonal relationships, our relationship with career success, our relationship with God/Source, or even our relationship with self.
The TEs can create anxiety, depression, and other unwanted emotional states. These TEs interfere with the proper functioning of the body’s organs and tissues as they resonate into every cell, tissue, organ, or gland around them. The various parts of the body are trying to find homeostasis or balance, and the ringing of these non-beneficial frequencies disrupts the normal flow of information between the brain and the body systems.
This can, in turn, contribute to pain, illness, disease, fatigue, confusion, and more. At one time or another, we will all have to deal with the consequences of these invisible forces.
Trapped Emotions can contribute to PTSD
The TEs not only cause anxiety, confusion, and depression. They are also the likely cause for other mental health problems including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Emotions from a traumatic event or time become trapped within the body and may even be captured in the form of mind-movies or negative thought forms. They then play over and over again which feeds the negative energy and generates more. If not cleared, they remain in our bodies and cause emotional as well as physical distress.
Trapped Emotions can be a factor in disease and illness
While many believe the cause of illness or disease is only an imbalance in the body, the root cause of the issue is likely TEs. Our bodies are both directly and indirectly affected by TEs as they distort the normal flow of the energy field. This, then, can reduce the effectiveness of the immune system and alter the normal function of the body’s cells, tissues, organs, glands, and systems.
We cannot prevent TEs, but we can recognize them and release them through various energy-healing methods. While many issues can be the result of TEs, the release of the trapped emotion can restore normal energy flow and often reduce or eliminate symptoms.
Trapped emotions can be identified and released with the Emotion Code and Body Code.
