These encompass physical health, cognitive capacity, spiritual wellness, social well-being, environmental health, and the crucial aspect of emotional balance, which can be deeply impacted by the power of energy healing. For a genuinely healthy lifestyle, one must achieve equilibrium in all these health dimensions, recognizing the significance of energy healing in nurturing emotional stability. Solid emotional health incorporates cultivating healthy thoughts, emotions, and actions, all of which can be profoundly influenced by energy healing. Thoughts and feelings emerge due to diverse environmental stimuli – both positive and negative – and when one effectively copes with stressors resulting from these responses, their emotional health flourishes. Take losing a loved one as an example; an appropriate expression of emotions coupled with coping mechanisms for handling stress and grief ensures emotional well-being, further enhanced by energy healing practices. This subsequently leads to the manifestation of healthy behaviors driven by the body’s biochemical and physiological functioning in response to emotional triggers, augmented by the positive effects of energy healing. Various environmental factors can put emotional wellness at risk, but with the integration of energy healing practices, individuals can better navigate these challenges. Stress can stem from sources such as family, work, personal relationships, finances, or even physical health. The body perceives stress as energy patterns that travel through different regions, and techniques like Emotion Code, Body Code, and Thought Code (Belief Code) work to unblock and harmonize these energy flows, mitigating stress and emotional turmoil, thus safeguarding emotional well-being. The importance of fostering emotional health cannot be overstated. The human body is profoundly affected by a wealth of environmental stimuli that instigate emotional reactions and feelings, and integrating energy healing into traditional approaches amplifies emotional well-being and enhances overall health. By recognizing the power of energy healing in achieving wholeness and vitality, individuals can embark on a journey toward greater emotional stability and holistic wellness.

Digital Detox – Take a Break from Mentally “Shiny Things” https://thetinkersmoon.com/digital-detox/ Thu, 21 Mar 2024 16:13:42 +0000 https://thetinkersmoon.com/?p=9947 In today’s fast-paced world, we’re constantly bombarded with new information, ideas, and opportunities. While some people are drawn to material possessions like gold or silver, others find themselves attracted to mental and emotional “shiny things” – the allure of new information, novel experiences, and intriguing courses of study. For many individuals, this intellectual curiosity provides a sense of fulfillment and purpose. Yet, for others, the seemingly never-ending pursuit of “shiny things” can have a downside: stress and overwhelm. In this blog post, we’ll explore digital detox, discuss the reasons behind our attraction to mentally shiny things, and look at strategies for reducing the stress that results. Our fascination with intellectually stimulating experiences may be partly explained by the way our brains are wired. Scientists believe that curiosity is an evolutionary advantage that helps humans adapt to new environments and learn essential survival skills (source). As a result, we’re naturally drawn to novel stimuli – such as new information or unexplored subjects – which activate our brain’s reward system (source). However, in the age of information overload, when we have access to vast amounts of knowledge at our fingertips, this proclivity can become overwhelming. Many people feel constant pressure to keep up with the latest trends or immerse themselves in the next exciting topic. This can lead to stress and burnout as we struggle to absorb everything that catches our interest. To reduce the stress associated with craving mentally shiny things, it’s crucial to develop healthy coping strategies: 1. Set boundaries: Rather than trying to learn everything about a subject or stay current on all trends within your field, establish clear limits for yourself. For example, allocate specific time blocks each day or week dedicated solely to exploring new areas of interest. 2. Prioritize your passions: Instead of spreading yourself too thin by dabbling in countless topics or courses simultaneously, focus on one or two areas that truly captivate you. By directing your energy towards a small number of passions, you’ll feel more fulfilled and less overwhelmed. 3. Practice mindfulness: It’s essential to recognize when your desire for mental stimulation becomes excessive. Engaging in mindfulness practices, such as meditation or journaling, can help you identify and acknowledge your feelings of stress and facilitate more balanced decision-making. 4. Implement digital detox periods: Regularly unplugging from the constant influx of information can do wonders for your mental health. Designate “offline” hours throughout the day or week to give your mind time to process and recharge. Our attraction to intellectually shiny things is both natural and beneficial. However, managing this curiosity effectively is crucial to reducing stress and maintaining a healthy sense of well-being. By setting boundaries, prioritizing your passions, practicing mindfulness, and implementing digital detox periods, you can enjoy the excitement of learning new things without feeling overwhelmed. Release Stress in Turbulent Times https://thetinkersmoon.com/release-stress-in-turbulent-times/ Fri, 15 May 2020 16:27:37 +0000 https://debigoldben.com/?p=6658 There is a great deal going on in the world today.  Many of us are feeling the stress of lock-downs and what we hope are temporary closures of our employers and businesses we frequent.  A few minutes ago I heard myself saying, out loud to myself … “I feel so lost and confused!” I wasn’t even sure why I felt that way, let alone why I had said it out loud and so emphatically.  I stopped what I was doing immediately and grabbed a cup of coffee and sat myself on the couch to take control of the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that were beginning to wash over me. Many religious teachings tell us to take our thought captive … and with good reason.  The more we think about something, the more we begin to resonate with those thoughts, feelings, and emotions.  It’s like trying to tune in a radio station.  The close we get to the frequency, the better our reception.  So the more we tune in to those non-beneficial thoughts, the more we resonate at that particular frequency and the more intense the feeling becomes. So back to releasing the built up “stuff”.  I had some quiet music in the background and I acknowledged that I was feeling these things.  Then I set an intention to release them (one by one) through all space, dimension, and reality.  I held the intention individually for each one until I felt the release.  For me that typically means I have felt a build of energy that culminates in a deep, cleansing breath after which I can feel some of the tension release from my upper back, neck, and shoulders.  I then take a couple more deep breaths and ask to be filled with love and light, grace and ease … and move on to the next one. It sounds like a long process, but it really doesn’t take very long at all.  Within about 5 minutes, I no longer had those intense feelings of being lost and confused.  I’ll be honest, I don’t feel rarin’ and ready to tackle my long to-do list, but that stifling, almost paralyzing feeling was gone and I could think more clearly.  Clearly enough to put together this quick little post. So when you can label a non-beneficial thought, feeling, emotion or even a belief … take a few minutes and see if you can release it.  Maybe you’re feeling helpless and like you have no control.  Or maybe you are angry and afraid of what may be happening or are worried about your job or your family.  You have much more power than you realize to change the inner environment (your thoughts) which can then change your outer environment (the world around you … your home life, your job, etc). You’ll find more information about clearing your own trapped emotions at this link.  If you feel too overwhelmed to tackle this for yourself right now, I’d be glad to help.  You can learn more about the different services I offer at this link.  It would be an honor and a privilege to work with you.
